Overnight rain delays start

Dhaka, Oct 22 (bdnews24.com) ? Dampened outfield due to rain all over night has delayed the start of second day play of the first Test between Bangladesh and West Indies at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Saturday.

Half-centuries from opener Tamim Iqbal and captain Mushfiqur Rahim took Bangladesh to a commanding 255 for four at the close of day one of the first Test on Friday.


Captain Rahim (68) and Naeem Islam (8) were at the crease when stumps were drawn.


Marlon Samuels picked up two wickets, while Ravi Rampaul and Darren Sammy took a wicket each for the Caribbeans.
